Encouraging Engagement

Not sure how to increase interactions on your social media platforms? Try out these strategies!

  • CTA’s (Call to Action)

  • Contests

  • Surveys

Each social platform provides analytics on your webpage. With this tool, you can use metrics and observe the data for your benefit. If the goal is to optimize your platform, try these out tactics and track the progress.

Call to Action

The purpose of a CTA is to get your audience to perform a desired action. With this in mind, it’s crucial that you dissect your page and determine the individual end goals. Always start with your bio because it is the first thing people see when they click on your page. For example, if you want more people to visit your website, you could provide a link and say, “click here to learn more!” This strategy eliminates confusion and give your audience quick and easy access.

Contests

Depending on the focus of your brand, creating contests will be effective to include in your content. Such as my wedding day packages, I could design a sweepstakes that requires a short survey, like, share, and comment for entry. This boost interactions and gets my viewers excited for my services. As a result, this approach can increase engagement surrounding individual posts and my page.

Surveys

This is a great way to get your audience interested in upcoming content and to attract new followers. By creating surveys, it gives followers an opportunity to be involved with your brand. For instance, if you need more content ideas, you can have an open-ended survey where they can ask you questions. These questions give you the chance to interact directly with viewers and create a connection.

Conclusion

Ultimately, there are various tactics to encourage engagement, but using analytics will help determine what works best for your brand. When struggling to get interactions, I suggest utilizing these strategies as they are universally effective. I hope this helps!
